Pre-requisites

You need to have the following pre-requisite knowledge and experience to be a successful candidate:

  • A basic understanding of networking fundamentals

  • An awareness and understanding of security best practices

  • An understanding of basic AD DS concepts

  • Basic knowledge of server hardware

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure

  • Experience supporting and configuring Windows client operating systems such as Windows 8 or Windows 10

  • Additionally, students would benefit from having some previous Windows Server OS experience, such as experience as a Windows Server systems administrator.

  1. AZ-101T01: Migrate Servers to Azure

  2. AZ-101T03: Implement Advanced Virtual Networking

  3. AZ-101T04: Secure Identities

  4. AZ-300T02: Implementing Workloads and Security

  5. AZ-300T03: Understanding Cloud Architect Technology Solutions

Course progress reports are submitted to Microsoft to identify Top Students, Students not progressing, and Students who have dropped out.  These reports will have an impact on whether or not you will be invited to future sponsored training.

Training delivery
  • The instructor-led sessions will be delivered live via Microsoft Teams (no recordings).

  • The track will start on 30 April 2019

  • You will be required to attend 12 x 2-hour Microsoft Teams training sessions

  • These training sessions will be delivered in the evenings: 18h00 - 20h00 UCT+2.

  • The track will end on 6 Jun 2019.

  • In addition, you will be given access to online labs, videos and courseware (where available).

Training Schedule
Post-application process

Once this application form has been submitted, you will receive login details for a Readiness online course.  This course will test your basic pre-requisite knowledge, your English comprehension, as well as your level of dedication.


Only when you've successfully completed this Readiness course, will you qualify and be accepted on the Modern DC track.
