Learning to Employment

 Blossoms

Our Learning to Employment program started in April 2010 and is committed to helping learners find jobs.

Our program targets our top 12 achievers from a pool of learners who attend basic IT literacy skills training at Siyakhula. These learners are all unemployed and from the community of Ivory and Ebony Park.

Our goal is to help these learners find employment by providing them with IT skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel supported by essential Business Skills.

To date, we have successfully completed 2 training programs and are proud to announce a 75% successful employment rate.

We thank Microsoft for co-sponsoring and being involved in our program this year.

To ensure each project is sustainable and on-going, we are prepared to sponsor 50% of the total investment of each project, consisting of 12 learners.

Should any company which to co-sponsor any of the new programs in 2011 / 2012, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
