Learning to Employment
Our "Learning to Employment" program started in April 2010 and
is committed to helping learners find jobs.
Our program targets our top 12 achievers from a pool of learners who
attend basic IT literacy skills training at Siyakhula. These learners
are all unemployed and from the community of Ivory and Ebony Park.
Our goal is to help these learners find employment by providing them
with IT skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel supported by
essential Business Skills.
To date, we have successfully completed 2 training programs and are
proud to announce a 75% successful employment rate.
We thank Microsoft for co-sponsoring and being involved
in our program this year.
To ensure each project is sustainable and on-going, we are prepared to
sponsor 50% of the total investment of each project, consisting of 12
learners.
Should any company which to co-sponsor any of the new programs in 2011,
please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Legends & Heroes
LGIT have identified 2 additional charities to
sponsor in 2010. The charities that we unite to support are:
- Tumelo Home for
Children with Cerebral Palsy
- Kyalami Independent School
We believe that by giving back to organisations who
are actively taking care of our children, we can build a better future
in South Africa for all.
LGIT is dedicated to provide computer training
facilities and transfer computer training skills and knowledge at:
Tumelo Home:
Our goal is to provide Computer Training to all
care-givers at Tumelo home. By enabling them to use technology, all care
givers will gain access to a wealth of knowledge on the internet. We
believe this will make a huge difference in the training programs and
educational programs currently in place at the home.
Care Givers will be able to conduct research, collaborate and share best
practices in caring for children with cerebral palsy.

Kyalami Independent School:
Currently IT courses are being delivered by 40
children, sharing 3 computers.
Our goal is to install a computer lab at the school which caters for
bigger groups and where learners can get hands-on Computer experience.
By providing high level skill and knowledge to teachers at the school,
the Computer curriculum can grow and evolve to offer a diverse range of
subjects and topics.
At LGIT we believe that through genuine care and
knowledge transfer, these children will become the Heroes and Legends of
tomorrow.

Let a Million Flowers
Blossom
The word
Siyakhula means “We are growing”
and it is the intention of
the project to do just that – to grow people: students and trainers
alike. LGIT Smart Solutions is currently working with Siyakhula, a
non-profit organisation, and the project aims not only to bridge
gaps in education, but also to build bridges between the previously
disparate communities.
